Babos-Mladenovic move into semifinals as WTA Finals doubles draw takes shape

Defending champions Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic moved back into the Shiseido WTA Final Shenzhen semifinals after a straight-set win on Wednesday. No.1 seeds Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka also picked up their first win of the event as they aim for a final four spot.
