Updates: Tsitsipas Leads Zverev In London

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas is a set away from reaching the semi-finals at his first Nitto ATP Finals. Tsitsipas took the first set of his Group Andre Agassi matchup with defending champion Alexander Zverev 6-3 on Wednesday night at the Nitto ATP Finals.

Zverev, serving down 15/40, 3-4, opted to serve and volley off a second serve, and Tsitsipas countered with a low return that Zverev miffed.

The Greek then served out the set the next game when Zverev sailed a volley long. The two youngest players – Zverev, 22; Tsitsipas, 21 – in the Top 10 of the ATP Rankings are playing in the youngest match at the Nitto ATP Finals since 2009, when Andy Murray (22) beat Juan Martin del Potro (21).
